Opportunity for the Titans

The Tennessee Titans have had their ups and downs this year. They start with a twenty-point win against the Cleveland Browns but dropped the next two against divisional rivals. They are now five and five, facing a rematch against division rival Jacksonville Jaguars.

The major change within the Titans has been at the quarterback position. Hoping to spark the offense to score more points, Coach Mike Gravel replaced Marcus Mariotta with Ryan Tannehill after Mariotta threw two interceptions in the game against Denver. Since then, the Titans have lost only one game. Having beaten a potent Kansas City Cheifs teams last week should give the Titans a real sense of confidence.

If the Titans want to make the playoffs this season, they will have to win nearly all of their final six games. They face four of those against divisional teams. If the can beat all of these teams--Colts, Jaguars, and Texans--then they could win the division.
